"ZIEMEĻBLĀZMAS SUNDAY SCHOOL OF ARTS", 4TH OCCUPATION "ART AND SCIENCE"

On April 13, 2014, at 13:00 in “Ziemeļblāzma” Palace of culture took place the fourth occupation of Sunday art school "Art and Science" which is concentrated on interaction scientific and art aspects, providing opportunity to learn about successful examples of cooperation.


Occupation from a cycle an event of the cultural capital of Europe.

On occupation took part the scientist from RTU Dr.sc.ing. Inga Ļašenko with performance about hear way to amber threads, and also about cooperation with the textilartist on Ivetu Vecenāni. In turn, the textil artist of Iveta Vecenāne showed sketches and presented the works of art in which amber threads were already used. Collaboration of the scientist and the artist in textiles — installation "That at amber on mind? " - I captured visitors of exhibitions in Italy, Canada, Germany and other countries. In France in the museum d'Angers at the “Artapestry 3” exhibition the gobelin of Ivetas Vecenānes was exposed along with world famous masters of Paul Klee, Alexander Calder and others.

Classes from the cycle "Ziemeļblāzmas Sunday School of Arts" thematic lectures are given once a month. They will be seen off by leading experts of branch, and everyone has opportunity to take part in discussion on a number of cultural tendencies and the current events, and also to take part in creative works.
Occupations from the cycle "Ziemeļblāzmas Sunday School of Art" take place in cooperation with Riga 2014 association.
